Vascular Access: Before During & After
The pupose of this tool is to provide basic information for patients and/or staff on fistulas, grafts, and central venous catheters. The toolkit includes:
- A description of each access,
- What happens before it is inserted or placed,
- What occurs during the insertion process, and
- How to care for and maintain the life of the vascular access.
